Job Title: Dive Boat Captain

Responsibilities.

Navigating and operating the boat.

Ensuring safety equipment is in place and up-to-date.

Inspecting the boat to ensure efficient and safe operation of the vessel and equipment and their conformity to regulations.

Overseeing the work of the crew and assigning duties.

Managing the boat’s maintenance and repairs.

Seeing to the safety and comfort of guests during their journey.

Supervising crew members.

Ensuring all equipment on-board are in perfect working condition and the boat is well-maintained and clean.

Documenting all diving incidents (i.e., damages, accidents) and providing reports of incidents to the Employer.

Executing all duties as boat crew for snorkel, scuba, and special charter trips, including boat set up and breakdown, interpretive tours, guiding and site setting.

Assisting with all aspects of retail services including, but not limited to, product sales.

Enthusiastically answering incoming calls and email inquiries.

Assisting in other activities organized and operated by the Dive and Water Sports Centre, such as big game fishing, night fishing, sailing, and other water sports activities.

Manning the diving and water sports equipment and facilities at the Dive Centre and Water Sports Centre.

Providing and facilitating the sale of water sports and diving promotional materials, dive and water sports equipment.

Qualifications:

Boat license (Inboard, Outboard).

Good English.

Minimum 2 years of experience.
