Position: Business Development Manager

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Malé, Maldives. This newly created position will spearhead our company's expansion efforts. The ideal candidate will possess existing industry links and connections with a proven track record of driving growth, forging strategic partnerships, and identifying and acquiring new business opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients through market research and analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new partnerships and business opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop innovative sales tactics and promotional campaigns.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, including sales forecasts, market trends, and competitor analysis.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field,
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles, preferably within the hospitality or supply industry.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and business trends in the Maldives and the broader region.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
