As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager.

Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Malé, Maldives

Responsibilities:

Identify and Cultivate Opportunities:

  • Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities to strengthen Travister's footprint in the Maldives travel market.
  • Formulate strategies to effectively reach and engage with potential clients and partners.

Sales Growth

  • Actively seek to achieve targeted sales growth in both B2B and B2C area.
  • Actively reach out new sales opportunities in both B2B and B2C area

Build Strong Relationships:

  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders, including hotels, resorts, airlines, and local travel partners.
  • Collaborate with existing partners to enhance mutual business growth.

Strategic Business Planning:

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
  • Continuously assess market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

Collaborative Marketing Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional campaigns and materials that resonate with the Maldivian market.
  • Ensure effective communication of Travisre's unique offerings and value proposition.

Market Research:

  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Utilize insights to adapt strategies and stay ahead in the dynamic travel market.

Industry Representation:

  • Represent Travister at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting Travisre's values and services within the local travel community.

 

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in tourism and hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

  • Proven track record in business development within the travel or hospitality industry, with a specific focus on the Maldives market.

Local Market Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of the Maldives travel industry, including key players, market dynamics, and cultural nuances.

Existing Connection and Industry Experience:

  • Well-established existing industry connections in B2B and B2C markets.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to foster strong partnerships and collaborations.

Self-Motivation:

  • Self-motivated with a proactive and result-oriented approach to achieve set objectives.

Collaborative Skills:

  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
