Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dive Boat Captain to join our team in Thulusdhoo. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the dive boat and leading the crew on excursions, ensuring the safety of guests, and maintaining the dive boat in excellent condition. The candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in the same capacity and be able to demonstrate a full working knowledge of all duties and tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain the dive boat in excellent condition, performing regular maintenance and safety checks
• Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of Maldivian law
 • Provide courteous, friendly, and professional service to guests at all times
• Contribute to the morale and team spirit of the dive center by maintaining good relationships with colleagues
• Perform any additional duties or special projects as directed by the management
• Maintain accurate records of all activities
• Have a basic command of written and spoken English
• Must be physically fit and agile to perform duties of the job
• Must be a Maldivian candidate.

Requirements:
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Dive Boat Captain
• Full working knowledge of all duties and tasks related to diving boat operations
• Valid Boat Captain License and Niyami Level 2 certificate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations
•Able to read and write Dhivehi and basic level english
 •Flexibility to work long hours, including weekends and holidays as require
